Even since 1985 the Wasserbett-Zentrum Knöchel has been working as a midwife of the waterbed in Germany and Europe and we lead the waterbed on its successful way to the german bedrooms. We supported the waterbed to get rid of prejudices and flaws. There is no similar product which has gained such a great reputation within such short time.

Mostly wrong informed or uninformed customers often believe that "all waterbeds are the same - they all have the same quality". Then they are astonished at the different waterbed prizes when they look for the best offer. The good reputation of waterbeds and the customer's lack of knowledge is exploited by discounters and internet sellers.
Just by having the same quality, customers should decide for the best prize - but the quality is not the same!

The heating systems are often not durable as expected and they need lot of energy. The thin and cheap welded foils used do not work for long and a leakage of the water is the result. Not to mention the function of the interlining, because they are often left out (waterskins). The right amount of water when filled is a just a matter of luck. Normally it takes weeks to regulate the right amount of water. An exchange afterwards or a guarantee are not possible in many cases, because those manufacturers mostly do not survive economically.

You should check this 4 points when buying a waterbed!
- Product and manufacturer: How good is the product, the quality and the variety? How powerful is the manufacturer? Does he produce and sell branded products in Europe and the entire world of does he create unknown products in some suspect areas?
- Contractor: Is the firm specialized in waterbeds? What about the size because there are more than 80 different types of mattresses? How long does it stay in the area? Does it have competent employees? Do you get advised and informed or do they just try to get your money? Can I trust the offer? Do their brands change?
- Customer service: How helpful is the customer service? Is the customer service guaranteed to stay for the next 10 years? Can the company offer a 24-hour service? Is their any guarantee to get a new mattress in case of a damaged mattress?
- Delivery: How long is the delivery period of a waterbed mattress and accessoires? You can judge the power of the service and the guarantee by looking at the delivery periods. Even if there is a customer service (as in big furniture stores), they must have the right article in stock to help yoo in case of damages.
