- Product and manufacturer: How good is the product, the quality and the variety? How powerful is the manufacturer? Does he produce and sell branded products in Europe and the entire world of does he create unknown products in some suspect areas?
- Contractor: Is the firm specialized in waterbeds? What about the size because there are more than 80 different types of mattresses? How long does it stay in the area? Does it have competent employees? Do you get advised and informed or do they just try to get your money? Can I trust the offer? Do their brands change?
- Customer service: How helpful is the customer service? Is the customer service guaranteed to stay for the next 10 years? Can the company offer a 24-hour service? Is their any guarantee to get a new mattress in case of a damaged mattress?

Even if there is a customer service (as in big furniture stores), they must have the right article in stock to help yoo in case of damages.
